Generally the author has a purpose for telling the story. Why do you think the author wrote this story? Is there a hidden agenda or is his purpose clear?
Jackie Roney I am reading for One More Day by Mitch Albom. I think he wrote this to inform people about what happened to Charles "Chick" Benetto a baseball player who tried to kill himself.
Andrew Olsen I am reading Friday Night Lights. This book is a true story so I dont think the author had much of purpose. The author probally did have a reason he wanted to write about this true story though. This is an insprirational story so far so this is probally why the author wrote about this.

Im reading Airman by Eoin Colfer. Im not sure why the author wrote this book. It it a fictional book and I suppose the author just wanted to write it.
